I noticed you commented on my "ACTA AGREEMENT" post. I was unaware that it predates Obama, so I thank you for the new information and will correct the post. I would also like to know what else you know about the subject, just to see if my "ties" with the government are telling the truth or just telling the average person something different. I would also like to thank you for leaving a comment, I like to know that my words are getting out.

What I've heard about ACTA is that basically it's an RIAA fest. They're trying to get the entire world to commit to the 3 strike rule(if you're warned by your internet provider 3 times that you're sharing illegally via p2p then you will be banned from getting internet service).
Really, the most offensive part to me is a procedural argument. It's a treaty and therefore should be negotiated semi-publicly. Instead it's a classified product, literally. I don't know if it's rated as Secret, TS or what, but the point of classified material is to protect the United States from external and possibly internal threats. You don't classify pending legislation...it's just a crazy fucking idea.
